Project management
Most clients start with a Bid Review. It costs less than one bad line item in a contractor's bid, and it shows you exactly how we work.
Up to three contractor bids put side by side on the same scope. We find the exclusions, allowances and gaps, then give you a written recommendation.
Need contractors to bid? We can suggest licensed, insured firms to invite.
Before you sign, we review the contractor agreement, payment schedule, change order terms and your total budget, and mark up what needs to change.
Both reviews together: $1,500.
We manage the job on your behalf from contract to closeout.
Three-month minimum. Final price set by scope.
Your Bid Review fee is credited toward your first month of Project Oversight.
Disclosure
We accept no referral fees, kickbacks or commissions from any contractor, supplier or vendor.
You are our only client on your project. You pay us directly, and we put that in writing in every engagement letter.

the founder
Our founder wrote Building Under Pressure for owners and owner-side managers. It sets out the steps, checklists and controls we use on every project, from due diligence through closeout, with eight anonymized case studies from his career.

Prefer to manage your own contractor? The templates we use are sold with the book. They are generic, so they work for an apartment renovation or a commercial fit-out.
